Welcome, my name is Jeffrey Kleiss, but I used to be Jeffrey Goetsch, before I took my wife, Jessica’s, last name when we got married. I live in the Pacific Northwest and love the rain. I love computer programming and solving interesting problems.
I fell in love with programming when I wrote my first program in HyperCard on a Mac Plus. I wrote the game Moncala and a computer opponent. I have been writing computer programs ever since.
I have a BS in Computer Science from the Colorado Technical University, and have been working as a Java programmer for over 20 years. I’ve worked at big name companies like Amazon, but I have also spent time working on small startups. I have created many open source projects like Slotted and QuickDto and will be creating more in the future.
I’m currently working on “My Kotlin AWS Journey”, as a way to revive my interest in new technologies. I don’t know where this journey will take me but I’m interested in seeing where I end up.
